A fragrance. That is easily you. It’s everybody & anybody.
Glossier outlines the notes in this fragrance below – ambrox, ambrette, iris, musk. It feels like so much more than a fragrance, it’s a feeling. That reminiscent feeling when a scent brings you back to a moment in time. The best time. Let’s go there real quick, ok? It. Will. Grow. On. You. It will also melt. into. your. skin.
At my first deep inhalation, I was shocked. Wowed. Not sure if I loved this. Gave it a minute and inhaled deeply by my wrist for the 2nd, 3rd time… I’m liking this more than I originally thought. It’s kinda sexy, in a non-sexy way.
Hard to describe, but easily appreciated.
The best part about this fragrance, which is very hard to describe is that it smells differently on each and every person that I’ve been around who has worn it. It adaptive and will change with you as you change, throughout the day. I’m for sure liking this scent on myself as the day goes on. You will not be disappointed!!
Glossier is coming to the U.K. starting Monday, October 9th!
Beauty brand, Glossier – (that I am a rep for) is expanding is international shipping territory to the United Kingdom starting Monday! That’s right – now you can get the millennial pink, body positive, beauty inclusive brand across the pond.
Perfecting Skin Tint – undetectable enhancement to blur & brighten, sheer & lightweight – available in 5 shades
Stretch Concealer – flexible camo wherever you want it – over dark circles, onto pimples to to blend all over your skin
Wowder– light, airy formula cuts shine, sets makeup, blurs pores, looks like skin – and is not cakey – 3 sheer, adaptable shades
Boy Brow – you’ve probably seen this everywhere by now – it’s amazing. Great brow product, its not sticky or hard and it fluffs, combs and adds umphh to your brows. Available in 3 shades or clear! (I use brown & clear).
Balm Dot Com – Original flavor / scent. I use this a several times and day every single day. It’s the easiest balm for your lips, cuticles, elbows, etc. I LOVE THIS.
Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream – neroli-scented and goes on like a dream. Soaks into skin very quickly. Leaves skin feeling and looking glow-y. Love this lotion!
Cloud Paint – I use one or more of these shades every single day. It gives me a slight splash of color that I need when I’m feeling a little washed out. Can be applied under or over and with/without Wowder. Was a huge fan of Dusk to create definition in my cheeks all summer. Now that its fall and my tan is fading, I’m really into using Puff on the apples of my cheeks. Shades can be blended together and you need such a minimal amount so this really lasts quite a while. (Also on sale right now!)
Super Bounce – Under priming moisturizer or any moisturizer that you use. Serums are meant to be used after cleansing but before masking or moisturizing. This one is super hydrating and makes my skin feel good – like its actually working.
Never been a serum girl until I became a devout serum girl. Glossier has 3 serums and I’ve been using them since September. 6 month review. I’m still using them and I’m not going a day without it.
Super Pure rules. It completely helped me get through several redness and breakout prone months in the fall. My chin is always red from hormonal flare ups, and Super Pure has combated that in such a real way.
I’ve moved over to using Super Bounce daily recently and I love what it’s doing for my skin. Keeps the moisture and suppleness in my skin. I use it post cleanser and P50 and pre- moisturizer.
I’m a Rep for Glossier, so please feel free to ask me any questions about any of the products! I love sharing my skincare tips, Glossier related or not!
This light / neon / crystal image is my new iPhone lock screen background because I really enjoy looking at it. Colors are dope.
Next up is a ridiculous Snapchat. Doing things that make you feel pretty. Feel-good things are not always the same as wellness things, but whatever. I got my hair colored yesterday…(great color = really good vibes) however (toxins from hair coloring = bad vibes) but I mean… I haven’t done it in about 1 year and I needed it and I’m making up excuses for myself BUT I just wanted it. And it makes me feel good. And this puppy filter on Snapchat is putting me over the edge– how cute is everyone as a dog? OMG. Plus follow me on Snap if you want a peek of all the weird shit I do on the daily. @ashleybyrdy, hi!
Next up: Thank you. Stop saying sorry if you want to say thank you. I saw this image below on a blog post here and totally had to share it with you guys. Putting good vibes out into the universe with a positive message instead of a negative one. I’m about this.
Bathing suit season is approaching and I for one am super excited and looking forward to being in a bathing suit and on the beach all summer long. I came across this pretty rad swimsuit website, Cocodune – that allows you to order suits at no charge, have them shipped to your house to try-on and then ship back whatever you don’t want. At no fee. Unless you keep something, then your credit card gets charged. It’s genius, especially if you have no time to swimsuit shop or you’re self conscious about it. Whatever the case may be, I’m trying it out this week so I’ll let you guys know what I think in a later post.
Keep it feel-good, guys…keep it feeling really good!
We just moved in to a new neighborhood in Brooklyn – and so far really loving it. Everyone says Bushwick is “up & coming” which, (for those of you who don’t know) means it used to be very ghetto, has gotten much nicer, but still has a long way to go. I mildly agree but love the character and charm of this very diverse and artsy neighborhood. The streets are spewed with massive pieces of graffiti art on buildings and garages. As I’m obsessed with taking photos of everything, The Bushwick Collective & other nearby pieces will occasionally make an appearance here or on my Snapchat @ashleybyrdy ❤
Some of my favorite pieces around the neighborhood…
